CAT Cut off & Admission Criteria 2019 for Great Lakes College

Great Lakes Institute of Management will announce its Admission Criteria for the batch 2019-21 in August 2018. Participants with a valid CAT 2018 Score will be applicable to apply for the institute from December.

  • Participant must have either written GMAT (on /after January 1, 2015) or CAT 2019 or XAT 2019/ CMAT 2019 to apply.
  • Indian Nationals and NRIs are applicable for admission.
  • The selection procedure at GLIM consists of Written Ability Test (WAT) followed by the individual interview (PI).
  • The at least CAT Cutoff is 90 to apply for MBA at GLIM. There is no sectional cutoff.
  • The shortlist for the First Cycle will be released in January 2019.

GLIM Admission 2018 Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility criteria for both the corporate level programs and postgraduate diploma level programs are explained below:

PG Diploma Programs

PG Diploma in Management (PGDM) and PG Program in Management (PGPM) are both the programs in which students can get admission after completing CAT 2018.

How to Apply At GLIM?

To apply for any of the courses, students have to fill the online application form. Participants must fill the application form very cautiously because once it is filled cannot be edited later. Application form cannot be sent to the students address by post or courier. It can be obtained only via the online mode.

Following are the steps with the help of which students can apply for the particular course:

  1. Visit the official website of Great Lake Institute
  2. On the website homepage search for the application form
  3. The online application can be filled only after the payment of application fees of amount INR 2000 for the full-time course and INR 1500 for corporate courses.
  4. After paying the application fees, students can start filling the online application form
  5. Students have to offer the valid email-id of the recommender. The recommendation letter will be collected from the final selected student’s recommenders and it must be submitted online.

Cut off 2019 for GLIM

Great Lakes does not have any at least Entrance Exam Score. It selects aspirants based on academic performance, work experience, and other factors. However, the following scores in CAT/XAT/GMAT/CMAT are considered good to get a call from GLIM:

Following are some other factors on the basis of which cut off will be decided:

  • Reservation Norms
  • The difficulty level of the exam
  • Total number of students appearing in the exam
  • Marks scored by the aspirant

GLIM Admission Criteria 2019

Admission criteria for the courses are different. The basic admission criteria for getting admission in any of the course are valid CAT scores. Other than CAT scores, selection of aspirant is done on different parameters such as overall academic performance, work experience, essays and individual interview.

  • Aspirants who are fresher or having work experience of fewer than 24 months is applicable to apply for PGDM.
  • For admission to the PGPBA program, aspirants must have 2 years of full-time work experience
  • For getting admission in PGXPM, students must have at least work experience of 8 years and should be presently working.
  • Those having work experience of more than 24 months can get admission in PGPM
