BEL Recruitment 2018 for 23 posts of Deputy Engineers (Bangalore Unit)

Bharat Electronics Ltd., a Navaratna Company and one of India’s premier Professional Electronics Company is inviting applications for the post of Deputy Engineer (Computer Sc., Electronics) on Fixed Term for a duration of 3 Years at its Bengaluru Unit. In total 23 vacancies are to be filled, 18 for Deputy Engineer (Computer Sc.) and 5 for Deputy Engineer (Electronics) which can be further divided as indicated below:

  1. GEN- 12
  2. OBC-5
  3. SC-4
  4. ST-2

All the vacancies will be filled via a written test for applicable aspirants followed by an interview. The aspirant should have an at least of 1 year of work experience. The last date to apply for BEL Appointment 2018 is March 14, 2018. Aspirants should not be aged more than 26 years as on 01.02.2018.

Eligibility Criteria for BEL Appointment 2018

Aspirants must satisfy the eligibility criteria stipulated by BEL for the appointment of Deputy Engineers. The details regarding eligibility criteria are mentioned below for your reference.

Age Limit

The aspirant must not be aged more than 26 years of age as on 01.02.2018. Upper age limit relaxation will be eligible for reserved category aspirants:

  • SC/ST Aspirants – 4 Years
  • PwD Aspirants – 10 Years
  • OBC Aspirants – 3 Years

Nationality Criteria

Only Indian nationals are applicable to apply for the appointment procedure.

Qualification and Branch

  1. Qualification for Deputy Engineer (Computer Sc.)
  • An at least of one-year work experience concerned to the given post is the need at the time of applying.
  • An aspirant must have done BE/ B.TECH / AMIE / B.Sc Engineering in Computer Science /  Computer Science and Engineering / Computer Science Engineering Branches Only From an AICTE approved College/Institute or a recognised university
  • Participants must have received the degree in above specialization in first class (Pass class for SC/ST/PWD).
  1. Qualification for Deputy Engineer (Electronics)
  • An at least of one-year work experience concerned to the given post is the need at the time of applying.
  • Participants must have received the degree in above specialization in first class (Pass class for SC/ST/PWD).
  • The aspirant must have done BE / B.TECH / AMIE / B.Sc Engineering in Electronics and Communication, Electronics, Telecommunication, Communication, Electronics and Telecommunication branches only From an AICTE approved College/Institute or a recognised university

Relevant Post Qualification Experience

Aspirant should have knowledge and experience in the use of following:

  • Java/J2EE (JSP / Servlets / EJB/JMS/Portlets) and Java SE
  • an IDE similar to Eclipse, Netbeans, Jboss developer studio, HTML, JavaScript, JQuery, Angular, React, CSS / stabilization/bootstrap etc.
  • Artificial intelligence technologies, OWL Ontologies, NLP and Machine Learning.
  • should know how to deploy devices with protocols like OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VPN, IPSec etc.
  • UI design using JavaScript/AJAX/Angular/CSS/HTML.
  • In configuring and deploying Network devices Routers, Switches, Firewalls, Load Balancers.
  • should know how to deploy Hadoop components - HDFS, Spark, H base, Hive, Sqoop and using it for Bigdata analytics.

Other Skills need:

The aspirant should also possess knowledge of following:

  • QT, ETL, and Analysis tools.
  • Hibernate, JDBC, relational databases, and SQL.
  •  C++, LINUX
  • network devices (Switches & Routers) and network storage devices (SAN).
  • Web crawlers and Open source intelligence domain.
  • security fundamentals: Network security, SSL/TLS, application security.
  • DDS( Open Splice/Vortex, RTI DDS, etc)
  • Serial/ LAN/modem interface development, Communication Protocols such as CSMA, TDMA,Ttp,TCP/IP,UDP, NTP,etc.

BEL Appointment 2018 How to apply?

Aspirant have to apply offline these are the following steps to apply

  • Visit the BEL website
  • Aspirants will be re-directed to a new window
  • View “Appointment for the post of deputy engineers” and then click on ‘Click Here to download the Biodata pattern’.
  • Read all the instructions cautiously and then fill in all the need fields on the form.
  • Select ‘Advertisements’ from the drop-down menu
  • Navigate to the careers tab. 

Fee Payment:

  1. General/OBC aspirant required to pay an amount of Rs. 500/-  as an application fee via SBI collect.
  2. Aspirants can make the payment by clicking on SBI Collect Payment option.
  3. Aspirants can also make the payment by approaching SBI discipline. Select SBI discipline in the payment option and download & print the challan generated via SBI Collect and deposit the application fee of Rs. 500/- plus eligible bank charges in any SBI Discipline. Aspirants must obtain the seal and signature of the bank officials.
  4. Gen/ OBC aspirants have to enter the “SBCollect reference No.” generated after payment, in the application form. Payment receipt should be attached to the Hard Copy of the Application form along with other enclosures. There is no application fee for SC/ST/PWD aspirants.
  5. Fees once paid will not be refunded.

General Instructions for BEL Appointment 2018

  • The last date to apply is March 14 and no documents will be accepted after this deadline. An incomplete application form will get rejected.
  • Documents to be submitted along with the duly filled form:
  • No changes in the category (GEN/SC/ST/OBC) of aspirant would be eligible post form submission.
  • Aspirants who are employed in public sector undertakings required to obtain ‘No Objection Certificate’ and produce it at the time of interview.
  1. BE / B. Tech /AMIE Degree and semester wise mark sheets.
  2. Experience Certificate/s of earlier company
  3. SSLC/SSC/10th Certificate as proof of date of birth and any other valid document.
  4. Online payment receipt.
  5. No Objection certificate (if eligible).
  6. In writing about details of post qualification experience.
  7. Caste / Disability certificate in case of SC / ST / PWD (if eligible, strictly in the prescribed patterns, which are available on the BEL website. OBC certificate should be dated on or after 01.02.2017).
