AP EDCET Result 2018 Score Card

AP EDCET 2018 Result will be released by Andhra University, Visakhapatnam in June 2018 on behalf of APSCHE (Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education). The course is organized for admission to two years B.Ed program in different University, Government, Aided and Private Colleges of Education in Andhra Pradesh. The entrance test is organized in both Telegu and English. However, the criteria of qualifying marks are not eligible for SC/ST category aspirants. The methodologies are basically the various subjects which are covered in the question paper. Aspirants required to obtain a score above the qualifying marks in order to qualify for AP EDCET 2018 Counseling Procedure. The qualifying marks vary according to the methodology.

Aspirants will be situated ranks in each methodology on the basis of their performance in AP EDCET 2018. The ranks situated will be valid for admission to B.Ed course for academic session 2018-19 only.

AP EDCET Result 2018 Important Dates

AP EDCET 2018 Results are expected to be released in the month of May -2017 on the official site. Check all the important dates concerned with results mentioned below. The official authorities are also going to publish response keys on or after April 25, 2018.

AP EDCET 2018 How to check the result?

AP EDCET 2018 result is expected to be released in the month of May-2018. Check the steps to download the hall ticket below. Aspirants required to login with their credentials created at the time of registration.

  • Save or download and keep print out of the scorecard for future reference
  • Enter the AP EDCET 2018 hall ticket number on the box blank box stating Hall Ticket number.
  • Visit the official web address web portal of AP EDCET as said above.
  • Click the ‘Submit’ button.
  • Aspirants’ score will be displayed on the screen.

AP EDCET 2018 Details on Score Card

Aspirants can download the scorecard from the official website after the releasement of AP EDCET 2018 Result. Aspirants shortlisted for the AP EDCET 2018 need to carry the scorecard while reporting for the counseling procedure. Aspirants can view their sectional and overview score in the scorecard along with the qualifying status.

Response Keys for AP EDCET 2018

AP EDCET 2018 Response Keys will be released by APSCHE. To download the official response keys, aspirants required to login with their registration number and date of birth. Aspirants can calculate the marks on the basis of the official response keys.

The response keys will be announced for various sets of response keys. The application fee for challenging any answer in the response key will be released later on the official site. In case of any discrepancy in the response key, aspirants required to send the complaints along with the supporting documents to the convener of the exam before the declaration of result.

Qualifying Marks for AP EDCET 2018

The cutoff marks or qualifying marks for AP EDCET 2018 is 37 out of the total marks, i.e, 25% excluding the aspirants that belong to SC/ST. There is no negative marking in the written test. One mark is honored against every accurate response. The criteria of qualifying marks are not eligible for SC/ST category aspirants as well as for female aspirants (only in Physical science and Mathematics methodologies). No marks are honored or deducted for questions not attempted.

Merit List for AP EDCET 2018

Aspirants are allotted rank in every methodology on the basis of their performance in the entrance test. In case of a tie in the score of two or more aspirants, ranks will be determined on the basis of aspirants’ performance in any of the following subjects: Maths/Physical Science/Biological Science/Social Studies. Further, if the tie still persists then ranks will be situated on the basis of the score in Part- A (General English).

Moreover, if the tie continues even after applying all the criteria mentioned above then aspirants older in age will be placed higher in the order of merit. The rank list will be published on the official site of AP EDCET 2018 in the month of May.

Counseling Procedure of AP EDCET 2018

AP EDCET Counseling will be organized in online mode. The counseling procedure will include Verification of documents, Registration, Filling online choices and Reporting to the situated institute for verification of documents. All the shortlisted aspirants need to pay the procedure fee to clear the registration for AP EDCET 2018 Counseling. Procedure fee for General aspirants is INR 1000/- and INR 500/- for SC/ST category.

Steps for AP EDCET Counseling 2018

  1. Aspirants to visit the Helpline center on the stipulated time and date along with all the requisite documents.
  2. Pay the procedure fee at the Helpline center and sign in the center before proceeding ahead for verification of documents.
  3. All the aspirants are called for registration rank wise.
  4. Carry all the Original documents for the purpose of verification and bring Xerox copies for the purpose of submission.
  5. All aspirants claiming reservation under BC/SC/ST category need to submit integrated Community certificate allocated by MRO (Mandal Revenue Officer).
  6. Income certificate allocated by MRO after January 01, 2017 will be considered only for the purpose of Tuition Fee Reimbursement as per the rules of State government of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
  7. Use the OTP (One Time Password) sent on the registered mobile number to log in and fill choices for methodology and college.
  8. Fill the choices cautiously and take the printout of the finally saved choices.
  9. The allocation of the seat is intimated to the aspirant through SMS on the registered mobile number.
  10. Aspirants can download the provisional allocation order from the official website and report to the situated institute for admission.
