Eligibility Criteria for AIIMS MBBS 2019

AIIMS organizes the entrance test in approximately 171 cities across India. The city chosen is subject to confirmation of payment of the application fee. Participants can indicate their choice of Examination City during the application procedure.

The examination city will be allotted to participants on a first-come-first-allotted basis, subject to availability of nodes in the respective city. The examination city once chosen, and allotted cannot be changed and no request in this matter will be entertained.
Exam Format for AIIMS MBBS 2019
AIIMS MBBS 2019 will be online, computer-based test posing about 200 Objective-type MCQ from Physics, Chemistry, Biology and General Knowledge of 10+2 level. The automated question paper will be in either English or Hindi according to the choice of aspirants as indicated during the Application Procedure.
- The subject-wise distribution of questions is tabulated below:
- Aspirants will be honored 1 mark for every accurate response while inaccurate responses will attract a penalty of 1/3 marks.
- Examinees can mark a particular response for review during the examination. However, if the particular response is not submitted finally, then it will not be evaluated.
- There is no negative marking for unresponsive questions.
- Time allotted for the examination is 210 minutes.

Cut Off for AIIMS MBBS 2019

Selection Procedure for AIIMS MBBS 2019
Based on AIIMS MBBS Result 2019, merit lists will be prepared. Inter-se-merit of two or more aspirants in the same category obtaining equal marks in the entrance test will be determined in order of preference as under:
- Aspirant older in age to be preferred.
- Aspirants obtaining higher marks in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics (in the specific order) in the entrance test.
The selected aspirants will have to undergo a medical check-up set up by AIIMS. In such cases, the next aspirant in order of merit will be selected. The candidature of those establish medically unfit, will be canceled.
Counseling Procedure of AIIMS MBBS 2019
AIIMS MBBS 2019 Counseling is the final round of the selection procedure. Counseling for AIIMS MBBS is tentatively scheduled for July 2019.
- Aspirants required to report at the counseling venue at specified time and date along with documents as listed under:
- Entrance exam scores form the basis of the Merit list.
- Participants will be intimated for counseling on the basis of rank obtained in the merit list.
- Merit list will, however, differ category-wise.
