AIEED Exam Pattern 2018

AIEED 2018 Exam Format will be announced by Arch Academy of Design which provides B.Tech qualifications from the UK. Students who wish to pursue a career in different fields of design can appear for the same. Undergraduate students with valid AIEEE Rank/ NATA Score/ NID Score are applicable for direct interview procedure.

  • After successfully completing the exams, every candidate has to go via an interview procedure and portfolio.
  • Both English and Hindi languages are available for this exam
  • The exam will be for a period of 3 hours 15 minutes
  • It is necessary to keep a check on the programs at the campus of your preference.
  • There are 2 sections in the paper- GAT and CAT
  • Only the official website declares the correct dates of the exam and the exam format

The institute is in partnership with Pearson and provides International Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) courses. The esteemed academy organizes AIEED (All India Entrance Exam for Design).

The academy provides specialized programs at its two campuses. The main campus is in Jaipur and another campus is at Gurugram. There are certain courses that aren’t provideed at the Gurugram Campus and there are a few courses that aren’t organizeed at the Jaipur Campus.

Marking Scheme of AIEED 2018

AIEED exams are for 200 marksCreative Aptitude Test and General Aptitude Test paper together make up for 200 marks. There are a total number of 45 to 50 questions to be attempted. The students have the option of attempting the exams online or offline. The question paper is bilingual, i.e. it is in Hindi as well as English. It is only the students who appear the paper offline who have the option of responding the paper in Hindi as well as English. Students appearing for the online exam can only response their paper in English.

There is no negative marking for exams under AIEED 2018. No additional marks will be deducted for a wrong response. A student on responding a question incorrectly will only lose the marks allotted to that question. The marks from one question to another may vary depending upon the number of questions asked in the exam.

Exam Format for Undergraduates of AIEED 2018

AIEED undergraduate paper is of 200 marks. General Aptitude Test is mandatory to be appeared by all candidates. General Aptitude Test (GAT) and Creative Aptitude Test (CAT) together are 200 marks. The exam can be appeared both online and offline.

Every student has the option of appearing the exam in their choice of method and language. Online exams can appear if the aspirant has reached to proper equipment and a stable Wi-Fi connectivity. The exam can be appeared offline by visiting the listed centres.

Exam Format for Post Graduates of AIEED 2018

Any student who has either finished their graduation or are in their final year can apply for AIEED. The paper format is similar to the undergraduate paper format. The postgraduate courses provideed by the academy are for two years.

There are 45-50 set of questions. The total time allotted to appear for GAT is 3 hours and 15 minutes. The question paper is bilingual and can be appeared via offline and online mode. Any student having finished graduation or diploma can apply for AIEED postgraduate programs.

Important Instructions for AIEED 2018

Candidates appearing for AIEED 2018 required to keep the following instructions in mind:

  • On being selected, every student, irrespective of the campus they choose required to attend a counselling session/seminar in the Jaipur Campus.
  • The question paper for both online and offline method is bilingual.
  • Foreign National and NRI’s can also appear for AIEED exams.
  • Students appearing for undergrad AIEED 2018 must have finished 16 years of age.
  • There are 13 offline examination centres across India.
  • Only qualified aspirants are invited for the interview.
  • The exam can appear only in English in the case of online mode.
  • Students applying for the examination via online method must keep scanned copies of the need documents handy.
  • Within seven days, the result of the online examinations is declared on the official website.
  • Students appearing for postgraduate AIEED 2018 must have finished 19 years of age.
  • The final selection is clearly based on merit, portfolio, earlier exams and interview procedure.
  • Students required to constantly check the official websites of the academy and exam for any notifications.
  • There is a limited number of seats for each program.
  • Mock test papers for both undergraduate and postgraduate AIEED students can be established on the official exam website.
