Prafulla Chandra College (Evening), Kolkata was established in 1954 and is running under the Brahmo Samaj Education Society. The college is affiliated to University of Calcutta. It offers Courses in the Bachelor of Arts, the Bachelor of Science and the Bachelor of Commerce. The college is recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The objective of the college is to provide higher education opportunities to the right students irrespective of their socio-economic, linguistic and religious status.
