About College
Bharathidasan Institute of Management Tiruchirapalli was established in the year 1984. It is a public B-School approved by AICTE. The school offers AICTE approved full-time MBA program, doctoral programs, and many executive education programs.
The college is consistently ranked among the top 20 Business Schools of the country ever since its inception.
Since its inception the institute has functioned from the BHEL Campus. The classes and hostel accommodation for students are provided in the MHD complex building in BHEL campus.
In June 2011, BIM has purchased 15.96 acres of land for its new campus. The land is located on the Trichy-Pudukkottai Road at a distance of six km from the Bharathidasan University and 20 km from the Trichy Junction.
Extra-curricular activities play an active part in the holistic development of the students. The students are encouraged for these activities to have better leadership and other skills. There are many clubs and societies been run by the students. These are:
BISMARC: Marketing club: The key event include flagship event, a case study competition. |
FINCLUB: Finance club: This organizes various finance related games, a stock related game. |
ZETETICA: HR club: This organizes short film competitions. |
E-club: Entrepreneurship cell: The cell invites eminent entrepreneurs to share their views so that the students can have a direct exposure of the industry. |
Annual Fest :
SANGAM is the annual festival celebrated in the college with great fun and entertainment. The aim of this festival is to bring together the alumni of the college together. It is organize by the Kalaicom’29. |
FINANCE UTSAV is another fest that students and staffs of the college celebrate with great zest. During the fest many events are arranged by the society like Business Quiz and much more. |
