Vivekananda College is a public college situated in Kolkata, West Bengal. It was founded in 1950 as Barisha College later on a name was renamed to “Vivekanand College”. There are total 700 students enrolled in various courses every year.
Vivekananda College Thakurpukur provides Under Graduate and Post Graduate courses. At the Under Graduate level, the college provides B.A, B.Sc and B.Com (Hons. and general). M.A in 2 specializations is provideed at the Post Graduate level.
College provides B.Sc. (general) and B.Sc (Hons). is provideed in 12 specializations. B.Sc General is provideed in 2 specializations and B.Sc. Hons.
For admission in B.Sc courses, registration is done in offline mode. Aspirants can download the application form from the official website as well as they can obtain the same from College Office.
Selection of aspirants for admission is made strictly on the basis of merit/marks. The college will publish the combined merit list of shortlisted aspirants.
List of selected aspirants applicable for admission to B.Sc. course will be published in college notice board.
