Sambalpur University is a state university situated in Sambalpur, India. The university provides courses at undergraduate, postgraduate as well as doctoral level.
Sambalpur University provides M.A., M.Sc., MPA, M.A./M.Sc., M.L.I.Sc., L.L.M. and Diploma courses at the postgraduate level. All the Post Graduate level courses are for a period of two years, except for Post Graduate Diploma, which is for a period of one year.
The M.A. course is provided with seven various specialization subjects, the M.Sc. course is provided with five various specialization subjects and the M.A./M.Sc. the course is provided with four various specialization subjects.
The registration is done in online mode. The registration fee is INR 500 for all aspirants. Applicable and interested aspirants can apply on the official website of the university i.e. www.suniv.ac.in.
The selection procedure consists of entrance test followed by viva voce. Those who will successfully qualify both stages of selection procedure will be considered for admission procedure.

Sambalpur University Post Graduate Courses Eligibility Criteria 2018
To seek admission to Post Graduate courses, aspirants required to fulfill the clear eligibility criteria prescribed by the university.
- Participants who are waiting for final year result are also applicable to apply.
- An aspirant, who has already possess a P.G. Degree will not be applicable to take admission in the same or any other P.G. Degree in the University.
- He or she needs to obtain Honors in the related subject or minimum 45% in aggregate in the same examination where the stated subject is a “Pass” subject.
- An aspirant should have passed three-year Degree Examination in Arts/ Science/ Commerce/ Law (B.A/B.Sc./B.Com./LLB) from Sambalpur University or any equivalent examination from a UGC recognised University.

Sambalpur University Post Graduate Courses Application Process 2018
Aspirants who wish to apply for Post Graduate courses in Sambalpur University can submit the application form on the official website of the university.
Mention a valid email address or phone number on the application form. Further information regarding entrance test and viva voce will be sent by email.
Aspirants need to pay an application fee of INR 500 at the time of registration procedure. The application fee can be paid in online method via net banking, credit card, and debit card.

Steps to Apply:
- Go to the official website i.e. www.suniv.ac.in.
- Click on admission tab
- Register by using your email id and password
- Login after the confirmation of email
- Fill the application form with the relevant information
- Upload the scan copy of signature and photograph
- Image size should not be more than 50K
- Save application form
- Pay application fee either of the available mode
- Take the print out of application form
- Send it to the prescribed address.

Hall Ticket/Admit Card
Aspirants who have successfully submitted their applications can only download the hall ticket. It is a need document to sit for the entrance test.
Sambalpur University PG Courses Selection Procedure 2018
The selection is done Based on the entrance test and viva voce. Qualified aspirants in both stages will be considered for admission procedure.
- Applications establish applicable for admission will be called entrance test.
- Aspirants have to send the needed documents by Registered / Speed Post for admission to the respective Heads of the P.G. Departments.
- Viva-voce in the final stage of the selection procedure, qualified aspirants in this round need to appear for document verification procedure.
- Shortlisted aspirants on the basis of their performance in entrance test will be called for viva voce.
