Sambalpur University was founded in the year 1966. It has different departments such as Chemistry, Life Sciences, History, Economics, Library & Information Sciences and Mathematics which provides a total of 27 Post Graduate courses. University provides courses at the undergraduate and post-graduate levels. University is recognised by University Grants Commission (UGC).
Sambalpur University provides admission to different courses via Distance Education such as MBA, MCA, BCA, BA, and BCom.
- The application procedure is both offline and online.
- MBA and MCA (Lateral Entry) have a course period of 2-year.
- MCA (Direct Entry), BA and BCom have course period of 3-years and PGDCA has 1 year of course duration.
- Selection of aspirants will be based on their academic performance.
- The application fee is INR 250 paid via Bank Challan.
- The basic eligibility need is graduation for all post-graduate courses and 10+2 for graduate courses.

Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications, MCA & MBA/PGDM
Eligibility criteria are various for various courses. Couse wise Eligibility Criteria are as follows:

Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications, MCA & MBA/PGDM
The application procedure is both online and offline. Challan must be drawn in favor of Director, DDCE, Sambalpur Univesity. Application form can be downloaded from the official website of DDCE.
The application procedure is as follows:
- Visit the official website.
- A new window appears depicting the link of the application form.
- Click on ‘DDCE Admission’ link.
- Take the printout of the form and fill it.
- Download the application form.
- Submit the application form along with relevant documents and bank challan to the study center of the aspirant’s choice.
Need Documents
Aspirants required to attach all the certificates and mark sheets in support of the educational qualification form High Secondary School onwards. It can be obtained via any of the approved centers of DDCE by depositing Bank Challan of the suitable amount. 2 Passport sized photographs and one stamp sized photograph.
Application Fee
Aspirants required to pay application fee of INR 250 along with the application form in form of Bank Challan.

Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications, MCA & MBA/PGDM
Selection of aspirants will be based on merit. Aspirant’s academic performance will be taken into account. No separate entrance exam will be organized for selection.
