Jadavpur University, in Kolkata, India provides postgraduate courses of MA, M.Sc. And M.P.Ed. Programs in different branches. All the given courses are for a period of two years, and the application forms are available by the University online on the University website at various dates starting from March.
Jadavpur University provides 13 MA programs and 7 M.Sc. Programs, available as both Day and Evening courses. The program is a Day) course and available in residential method only. The University also provides undergraduate and research-based programs. The M.P.Ed.

The admission to these courses are made via entrance exams, while there are two other major factors that are taken into consideration while the selection of an aspirant i.e. skill possessed and the percentage scored in the qualifying examination in certain courses. The eligibility and the selection procedure differs from course to course.

For admission to the above program, the aspirant should have finished the BA Hons Degree from a University/Institute recognized by UGC.
The aspirant who has appeared or due to appear in the B.A. /B.Sc. Final Year/Semester Examination, within the university, may also apply. For such an aspirant the latest available marks Honours/Major papers in semester system/ annual system of the examination will be considered for preparing the merit list.

For admission to the above program, the aspirant should have finished the B.Sc. Hons. Degree in the relevant field from a University/Institute recognized by UGC.
The aspirant who has appeared or due to appear in his/her Final Year/Semester Examination may also apply. For such an aspirant the latest available marks Honours/Major papers in semester system/ annual system of the examination will be considered for preparing the merit list.
The application procedure is clearly online and the duly filled Application Forms must be submitted by the last date mentioned above. If you are applying, click the Apply button. You have to offer this information only once, regardless of how many departments you apply for. You will then get a unique number. You can apply for any number of programs, but the Application fee will differ for every subsequent program. If you are not sure about the meaning of any box, place the cursor over that box, and a Tool Tip box will appear. Before applying you can review the eligibility criteria from the link on the top right corner. The form can be accessed on the University website and is common to all programs.
Online Application: The entire Application procedure includes primarily in three steps.
Step 1: First, you must log in and enter your individual and educational information here. You must note down that Application number.
Step 3: In the Main Page you will get the link for online payment of Application Fee, for which you should pay Rs. 125 for the first form, and Rs. 100 in the subsequent forms if you apply for other programs. You should then upload the SB Collect Reference No (starting with DU) in this website, and click on submit.
Your Application procedure is now clear.
Now click Submit button to save your data. The payment can be made online through SBI I-Collect system in any of the following modes:

Step 2: You will now need to select the department you wish to apply for. For each department that you apply for, you will be generated a various Application number. Please note down this, you will require this No.

Note: For PD category: Selection will be made in accordance with merit based on 50% weight on the academic performance and 50% weight on the percentage of disability in the 40%-100% scale.
The reservation criteria will apply only to those aspirants domiciled in the state of West Bengal. Participants under PD category will have to appear before an expert committee to be constituted by the University.
For OBC Category: The aspirants who will be provisionally selected under the OBC- A and OBC- B categories must produce an OBC certificate at the time of counseling/ admission, whose date of issue should not be previous. It will be based on the policy followed by the state government rules.
For PWD: Persons with 40% or more disability will only be considered for admission under PD category under PWD. It should be alloted by the competent authority that completely indicates:
