You should fulfil any of the following criteria:
Bachelor’s degree in any branch with 50% marks and having minimum participation in the Inter-College/Inter-Zonal/District/School competition in sports and games as recognised by the AIU/IOA/SGFI/Govt. in India; or
Bachelor’s degree with participation in international competitions or secured 1st, 2nd or 3rd position in National/Inter-University competition in sports and games as recognised by respective federations/AIU/IOA/SGFI/Govt. of India; or
Graduation with 45% marks and minimum three years of teaching experience (for deputed in-service aspirants i.e. trained physical education teachers or coaches)
of India; or
Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education with 45% marks; or
Bachelor’s degree in any branch with 45% marks and studied Physical Education as a mandatory/elective subject; or
Bachelor’s degree with 45% marks and having participated in National/ Inter University/State competitions or secured 1st, 2nd or 3rd position in Inter College/ Inter-Zonal/District/School competition in sports and games as recognised by the AIU/IOA/SGFI/Govt.

You have to offer this information only once, regardless of how many departments you apply for. You will then get a unique number. If you are applying, click the Apply button. The form can be accessed on the University website. The entire Application procedure is online, but the certificate for sports category, OBC category and PD category will have to be sent separately to the University.
Online Application: The entire Application procedure includes primarily of three steps.
Step 1: First, you must log in and enter your individual and educational information here. You should then upload the SB Collect Reference No (starting with DU) in this website, and click on submit.
Your Application procedure is now clear.
In addition, participants must submit attested photocopies of the certificates for participation in Sports/Games for applying under Sports category, and disability under PD category along with a copy of online payment receipt at the following address.

Note: Aspirants who have passed the Higher Secondary or its equivalent examination (under 10+2 system) via a correspondence course under any recognised Board/Council, shall need to sit for a Preliminary Qualifying Test (PQT) for admissions to BA (Honours) in Economics, History, Sanskrit and Sociology.
Reservation of JU (Jadavpur University) Kolkata BA, B.Sc., B.P.Ed. Admissions 2018
The reservation criteria will apply only to those aspirants domiciled in the state of West Bengal. It will be based on the policy followed by the state government rules.
For PWD: Persons with 40% or more disability will only be considered for admission under PD category under PWD. Participants under PD category will have to appear before an expert committee to be constituted by the University.
For OBC Category: The aspirants who will be provisionally selected under the OBC- A and OBC- B categories must produce an OBC certificate at the time of counseling/ admission, whose date of issue should not be previous than June 2015. It should be alloted by the competent authority that completely indicates:
The category (A or B) they belong to;
That they do not belong to a creamy layer of the society
For Sports Quota: There are certain requirements that the aspirant must fulfil.
For the sports and games recognized by AIU, the aspirant must have:
a record of participation in the Inter-State competition or above; or
Secured position 1st or 2nd or 3rd for a personal event or sports or member of Champion / Runners-up team for team events/sports/games in Inter-District (open) competition not before 01.01.2014
For Chess: The aspirant must have a FIDE rating of 1700 and above is applicable to apply for admission under sports quota.
For Tennis: A student having AITA ranking up to 300 for under 18 years boys/girls or ranking up to 500 for open (Men/Women) category is applicable to apply for admission under sports quota.
