Christian Medical College Ludhiana set up in the year 1894. It provides admissions in different medical courses at the level of studies. It was the first medical college for women in Asia. It is presently affiliated to Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot.
CMC Ludhiana MBBS and BDS courses admission are based on NEET Score. Topics are from 10 + 2 level syllabus. Institutes take admission in the month of June or July, after the declaration of NEET results. NEET question paper includes 180 questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology. NEET Under Graduate is all India Medical and Dental entrance examination.

All NEET qualified aspirants have to compulsorily apply to Baba Farid University of Health Sciences along with applying to CMC Ludhiana.
Christian Minority participants with service commitment have to undergo a Bible Test.
The admissions are based on National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET UG) results.

Christian Medical College Ludhiana MBBS AND BDS Eligibility Criteria
MBBS
To apply for Under Graduate courses, an aspirant must clear 17 years of age at the time of admission.
Only Indian citizens and NRIs are admitted to the course.
All the aspirants need to qualify the NEET Under Graduate examination.
An aspirant with 50 % marks in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English is applicable.
For SC and OBC classes, the at least passing percentage is 40% for each subject.
No other foreign national is allowed to be admitted in the mentioned courses.

MBBS
Such students are allotted dates for counseling at BFUHS as per their Merit ranks in NEET Under Graduate program wherein they required to submit the documents.
After successful completion of the Bible Test and Application Procedure, an aspirant of Christian Minority with Service Commitment is applicable to get admitted.
All NEET qualified students and students from Open Category, SC/ST/OBC/NRIs and Christian Minority with Service Commitment required applying online via Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS).
Disclose all the need details and upload the need documents. All the enclosures along with the Admission form is to be sent to the Registrar, CMC Ludhiana Society.
Christian Minority with Service Commitment is needed to send a copy of their finished application of BFUHS to the Registrar, CMC Ludhiana.
For all other categories, Merit List will be uploaded on BFUHS website.
For Bible test, an participant required to select a Test Centre. The test centres are Allahabad, Amritsar, Bhopal, Chennai, Kolkata, Kochi, Ludhiana, Mumbai, Nagpur, Delhi/NCR.
Failure of passing to such test will result in a treatment of such application in General category governed by BFUHS.
Such aspirants also required to send Baptism Certificate, Church Membership Certificate, Affidavit of Service, Letter of Service Commitment and Domicile details.
All the aspirants under Christian Minority with Service Commitment must apply online to CMC Ludhiana and pass the Bible Test with at least of 40%.

For MBBS
Out of 75, 45 are for Christian Minority Aspirants.
Rest is for other categories.
12 seats are for Open Category (Amongst these seats, 8 are allotted to participants belonging to the state of Punjab).
There are 75 seats.
11 Seats are for NRI Aspirants.
For BDS
24 seats are allotted to Christian Minority Aspirants.
6 seats are for NRIs.
8 seats are for Open category (Amongst these seats, 5 are allotted to participants belonging to the state of Punjab)
There are 40 seats
The rest of the seats are then allotted to the remaining categories.

MBBS students required to pay INR 6,60,000 for the first year. Hostel charges are INR 28,000 per year excluding mess and electricity charges.
BDS students required to pay INR 2,20,000 for the first year. The Admit Cards can be downloaded via CMC website. Hostel charges are INR 28,000 per year excluding mess and electricity charges.
